Software Updates

When updates are made to our software, a date and description can be found under the appropriate software title. The latest versions of our software are available at our Downloads page.

 

CDLib

  • 02/04/2001 - (version 2.04b) Fixes Windows 2000/XP printer problems caused by installing v2.04a.  Also fixes problems discussed in 2.04a below.
  • 03/16/2001 - (version 2.04a) Fixes Windows 2000 inability to display the Magazine Assignment window and the Custom Playlist window.  If you are experiencing this problem,  see the discussion on the FAQ page about CDLib/Always on Top.  **2.04a is no longer available and is replaced by 2.04b above.
  • 04/07/2000 - (version 2.04) Fixes installation problems for users who upgrade and those with Internet Explorer 4.  If you are having problems with Windows Explorer after installing CDLib 2, see the discussion on the FAQ page about CDLib/Internet Explorer 4.
  • 04/04/2000 - (version 2.03) Fixes "Access Track: 35600 Index out of bounds" error when switching from CD Player window with music playing (and Remote Player unloaded).  Also provided "fix" install for those with v2.02 installed.
  • 03/30/2000 - (version 2.02) Added export capabilities and the ability to listen to your music when on windows other than the CD player window.  Added Remote Player (in system tray) to control the music when you're not on the CD Player window.
  • 03/15/2000 - (version 2.01) Fixed reported errors, handle international issues for registering,  date/currency display and audio CD recognition.
  • 02/28/2000 - (version 2.00) Release of new version with CDDB, CD Player and Outlook bar interface
  • 01/14/2000 - (version 1.0.87) Fixes "Runtime error 30009, Invalid Row Value" when adding a new artist or music style
  • 01/14/2000 - Separate fix for existing CDLib 97 customers, handling above problem
  • 07/05/1998 - Changed AutoRegister, won't overwrite your existing browser file (shdocvw.dll)
  • 06/27/1998 - Documentation now installs in separate directory
  • 06/15/1998 - Fix for AutoRegister - runtime error 6, overrun
  • 05/19/1998 - Added Internet connectivity to AutoRegister Wizard.
  • 02/08/1998 - (version 1.0.85) Updated AutoRegister Wizard.
  • 01/27/1998 - Added written documentation to the Downloads page

 

FontLib

  • 04/22/2001 - (version 2.9) Fixes print problems (error 713) found in v2.8.
  • 01/15/2001 - (version 2.8) Works on Windows 2000 and ME. Fixes report problems (first line displaying incorrectly, lines overlapping) and installation problem (potential loss of FontLib data when reinstalling FontLib).  
  • 04/27/2000 - (version 2.7) Works on Windows 2000. Handles font names up to 100 characters.
  • 01/24/2000 - (version 2.6.6) Better handling of registration key during month of January
  • 10/05/1999 - (version 2.6.5) Better handling of registration key outside of United State.
  • 06/30/1999 - (version 2.6.4):
    Better handling of TrueType fonts installed and uninstalled outside of FontLib. Certain TrueType fonts were not displaying in FontLib or were accidentally being displayed in other applications although they were not in the active set.
    First font in Preview window displays correctly.
    LaunchPad reflects the latest active set when changed by FontLib.
    LaunchPad now has a title bar so it can be moved.
    LaunchPad will not allow changes to the active set if FontLib is also running. Close FontLib or use it instead.
    Updated AutoRegister.
  • 02/01/1999 - Family PC Magazine discounted price of $19.95 ends; price returns to $29.95
  • 11/04/1998 - (version 2.5.75) Fixed error '5' during font preview and font display
  • 10/27/1998 - (version 2.5.74) Fixed installation update from v2.0 to v2.5
  • 10/05/1998 - (version 2.5.65) Fixed print, font preview and registration issues. Posted new version and a separate fix for existing customers.
  • 09/10/1998 - (version 2.5.53) Fixed display problems with About and Registration windows
  • 09/07/1998 - (version 2.5.50) Updated to FontLib version 2.5. Added display and reporting of multiple fonts and created LaunchPad, a system tray utility that monitors your sets. AutoRegister is now part of FontLib, not a separate application.
  • 07/05/1998 - Changed AutoRegister, won't overwrite your existing browser file (shdocvw.dll)
